Refund policy
Stained glass patterns and projects from Lucky Cat Glass Works are all handmade with care, intention, and often limited materials. For that reason, LCGW has a limited return and refund policy as follows:
Stained Glass Patterns:
- Non-Custom Stained Glass Patterns: No refunds or returns are accepted, all sales are final.
- Custom Stained Glass Patterns: 50% deposit due at time of commission, remaining balance due when your pattern is complete and deliverable. This final balance must be paid before I will deliver your final pattern. Should you choose to cancel your order for a custom pattern before it is ready and deliverable, the initial deposit will be retained. I work diligently over the entire design process to make sure your pattern fits your vision of your final piece, and I will be in contact with you throughout that process to ensure an ideal final pattern! Please note that I will do my best to get the full scope of your design requests before I start the pattern to best achieve your ideas, and I offer a limited number of requested changes before I finalize your design. No refunds will be issued after the pattern is complete, all sales are final.
Stained Glass Projects
- Included in your order is a care card indicating cleaning and hanging suggestions. I am not responsible or liable to replace or refund your order if your project is damaged by how it is hung or cleaned once it reaches you. Please do not use ammonia window cleaners or suction cups on your stained glass.
- Non-Custom Stained Glass Projects: No refunds or returns are accepted. Should a piece have any flaws or issues (IE: heat cracks) I do my best to include this in the product listing. Please read the entire product listing before purchasing. All sales are final.
- Custom Stained Glass Projects: Custom projects require a 50% deposit before I begin designing or cutting glass for your piece. Custom project orders may be cancelled before I begin construction on your piece, if I have begun designing or cutting glass for the project, full cancellations will not be accepted and your deposit will be retained. Custom orders are exempt from refunds/returns and are crafted to your specifications, all sales are final.

Damages and Issues
- Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that I may evaluate the issue and make it right. As an artist and a seller, shipping issues and damages are equally as frustrating on my end as it is for you, should you have any issues with your order once it has shipped please shoot me an email at rachel@luckycatglassworks.com! If I determine I am able to fix the piece, please note that I may not be able to exactly match glass or materials but I will do my best to make restore the piece to its original condition.
European Union 14 Day Cooling Off Period
- Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please note the cooling off period does not apply to custom commissioned work or digitally downloaded items (IE: patterns), and the above policy regarding your deposit retention applies.
